Daan is an incredibly sweet and affectionate tomcat who loves being involved in everything you do. He clearly enjoys attention and isn't shy about showing it. Is he not getting enough attention? Then he'll try to win it back in a very cute way by "fishing" for you with his paw. It's hard not to smile at that. He most loves being held, and then he really hugs you back while showering your face with head bumps. Besides cuddling, Daan also loves playing. A toy, a feather, or simply hanging out together: Daan is always happy to join in. He has a cheerful, sociable character and truly seeks contact with his people. Daan has a chronic sneezing condition. He can live well with it, but during periods of stress the symptoms can get a little worse. That's why we're looking for a calm and stable home for him where he gets the attention he needs. Because of his sneezing condition, we would prefer not to place him with other cats. When Daan arrived with us, he had several bald patches in his coat. By now his coat has grown back beautifully. He is given hypoallergenic food to support his skin and coat, and he is doing very well on it. We suspect that in the past Daan was used to going outside. A safe catio or fully enclosed garden would therefore be a wonderful addition, allowing him to enjoy fresh air without being able to infect other cats. For this special boy we are looking for a loving home where he gets all the attention he so loves to give and receive. Daan is een ontzettend lieve en aanhankelijke kater die graag betrokken is bij alles wat je doet. Hij geniet zichtbaar van aandacht en laat dat ook merken. Krijgt hij even niet genoeg aandacht? Dan probeert hij die op een heel schattige manier terug te winnen door met zijn pootje naar je te "hengelen". Het is moeilijk om daar geen glimlach van te krijgen. Het liefst wordt hij vastgehouden en dan knuffelt hij je echt terug terwijl je kopjes in je gezicht krijgt. Naast knuffelen houdt Daan ook enorm van spelen. Een speeltje, een veertje of gewoon gezellig samen bezig zijn: Daan doet graag mee. Hij heeft een vrolijk en sociaal karakter en zoekt echt contact met zijn mensen. Daan heeft een chronische niesziekte. Daar kan hij prima mee leven, maar in periodes van stress kunnen de klachten wat toenemen. Daarom zoeken we voor hem een rustig en stabiel thuis waar hij de aandacht krijgt die hij nodig heeft. Vanwege zijn niesziekte plaatsen we hem liever niet bij andere katten. Toen Daan bij ons binnenkwam had hij meerdere kale plekken in zijn vacht. Inmiddels is zijn vacht weer mooi terug gegroeid. Hij krijgt hypoallergeen voer ter ondersteuning van zijn huid en vacht en doet het daar erg goed op. We vermoeden dat Daan in het verleden gewend is geweest om naar buiten te gaan. Een veilige kattenren of volledig afgesloten tuin zou daarom een mooie aanvulling zijn, zodat hij van de buitenlucht kan genieten zonder andere katten te kunnen besmetten. Voor deze bijzondere jongen zoeken we een liefdevol thuis waar hij alle aandacht krijgt die hij zo graag geeft én ontvangt.
