Ness

American Staffordshire Terrier · Female · Adult · 4 years

It's my turn to introduce myself... My turn has come to present my sweet face in order to find my wonderful family through La Team Spa Sud Alpine located in the Hautes-Alpes in Veynes in the region of PACA. My name is Ness, I was born on October 22, 2018, and I believe all my teeth are in place... I am a beautiful American Staff Terrier and I am patiently waiting at the orphanage but I am impatient to leave because I have a hard time supporting this one and as a result, I have skin problems. I am Category 1, so there will be a need for a pet license and a clean criminal record... It's not great but that's the way it is... We are categorized as watches, which is really horrible because our chances are lower, but I dare to believe in a future family... I am aware that being Category 1 could potentially be a barrier to my adoption but unfortunately, this law, I can't do anything about it... However, I am a very curious and adorable little one... I dream so much of going for walks with my family, snuggling up warm against you, and living a beautiful story full of love. I sincerely hope to find my little happiness and the chance to start a new adventure full of love with you, maybe hiiii. I will cross my sweet paws and pray with my mustache to find MY FAMILY. - Okay, other animals of the same species non-dominants. - No cats. - Okay, adults and children (not very young). - Cuddly and very playful. - Clean and non-destructive. I am taken care of by La Spa Sud Alpine (Identified - Vaccinated - dewormed / deparasited - spayed), you can contact the shelter at or at to discuss my adoption if you have fallen in love with my adorable face. I thank you infinitely and give you enormous sloppy kisses hiiii.

About Ness

What life with Ness looks like

Ness is a small adult american staffordshire terrier dog waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ness, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ness?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ness on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ness if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ness already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ness isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ness and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
