Nestor is a cat rescued from the pound. He arrived at the shelter very sick, having caught a severe cat flu at the pound which he triggered with us, only for an FIV cat it takes longer to treat and recover than for a negative cat. We did everything possible to save this little one and we succeeded after several weeks because he is an incredible fighter!! He still has some lingering effects from this terrible episode since Nestor often has clear eyes and sometimes a slightly congested nose, but his appetite is ALWAYS there! Our "Ness" is a little glutton, both for wet food/dry kibble and cuddles! Indeed, he has become so used to our attention being focused on him for weeks that Mr. can become jealous when we take care of another cat instead of him! With us, he is a love, he climbs into arms, on the back, he loves kisses! We hope to find him a calm family who wants to rescue, ideally without other cats, so that Nestor does not end up spending his life with us even though he is FIV and battered by life, he is a cat who deserves so much love!!! For now he is under sponsorship! Nestor is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV, dewormed and treated for fleas. Nestor est un matou sauvé de la fourrière. Il est arrivé au refuge très malade, il a attrapé un gros coryza à la fourrière qu’il a déclenché chez nous, seulement pour un chat FIV c’est plus long à soigner et à récupérer que pour un chat négatif. Nous avons fais tout ce qui était possible pour sauver ce loulou et nous y sommes arrivés après plusieurs semaines car c’est un incroyable battant !! Il garde quelques séquelles de ce terrible épisode puisque Nestor a souvent les yeux qui coulent clair et parfois le nez un peu encombré, mais l’appétit lui est TOUJOURS là! Notre « Ness » est un petit gourmand aussi bien en pâtée / croquettes qu’en câlins ! En effet il a été tellement habitué à ce que notre attention soit focalisée sur lui durant des semaines que Mr peut se montrer jaloux lorsqu’on s’occupe d’un autre chat plutôt que lui ! Avec nous c’est un amour, il monte dans les bras, sur le dos, il adore les bisous! Nous espérons lui trouver une famille calme qui souhaite faire un sauvetage, sans autres chats idéalement, afin que Nestor ne finisse pas sa vie chez nous car même si il est FIV et abîmé par la vie c’est un chat qui mérite tellement d’amour !!! En attendant il est au parrainage! Nestor est identifié par puce électronique, castré, vacciné, testé négatif Felv, vermifugé et traité contre les puces.
