Adopt NANIE

NANIE is a small female cat who arrived at our shelter in 2017. She stayed for several months in the sunny room where it was very difficult for her, she didn't want to come down from her shelf to go to the litter box or to eat so we set up the shelf with a litter box, pads, and bowls. She didn't like other cats at all and had a strong character so beware of those who wanted to venture onto her territory. Since she was only 6 years old at the time we left her in that room hoping she would be adopted... But her strong character didn't appeal to anyone. The more time passed, the less NANIE tolerated the shelter, living on her shelf became complicated so we moved her to the cloud room with calmer cats, with a real hierarchy among our cats at the time and a room with more space. Since then, NANIE has been indifferent to other cats as long as they don't try to get too close to her. She has gained a lot with people even though sometimes she can give a paw strike because Mrs. isn't willing or doesn't want to come out of the veranda for example. NANIE has gum problems and is difficult to care for because she's a little demon when you force her to do anything. Plus, it will soon be 5 years that NANIE has been at the shelter and she will stay with us as long as she wants! That's why she stays with us and is waiting for godparents.

Nanie est une petite minette arrivée chez nous en 2017. Elle est restée plusieurs mois dans la pièce soleil où c’était très compliqué pour elle, elle ne voulait pas descendre de son étagère pour aller à la litière et pour manger alors nous lui avions aménager l’étagère en lui mettant une litière, des alèses, des gamelles. Elle n’aimait pas du tout les autres chats et avait déjà son sacré caractère alors gare à ceux qui voulaient s’aventurer sur son domaine. Comme elle n’avait que 6 ans à l’époque nous l’avons laissé un moment dans cette pièce dans l’espoir qu’elle se fasse adopter… Mais son caractère bien trempé n’a plus à personne. Plus le temps passait et moins Nanie supportait le refuge, vivre sur son étagère devenait compliqué alors nous l’avons mis dans la pièce nuage avec des chats plus calmes, avec une vraie hiérarchie entre nos matous à l’époque et une pièce avec plus d’espace. Depuis Nanie est indifférente aux autres chats à partir du moment où ceux-ci n’essaient pas de se coller à elle Elle en a énormément gagné avec les gens même si parfois elle peut donner un coup de patte car Mme n’est pas décidé ou Mme ne veut pas sortir de la véranda par exemple. Nanie a des soucis de gingivite et est compliquée à soigner car c’est un petit démon quand on la force à quoi que se soit. En plus cela va bientôt faire 5 ans que Nanie est au refuge et elle restera avec nous aussi longtemps qu’elle le voudra ! C’est pour cela qu’elle reste chez nous et qu’elle attend des parrains et marraines.
