Nico

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 5 months

Nico is one of Antonela’s five kittens; Antonela is a young cat who was rescued in the San Pedro area after several people saw her crossing the road in search of food. Shortly afterwards, Antonela was able to raise her kittens in a foster home, where they have grown up surrounded by care, protection and affection. Nico is a friendly, affectionate and very cuddly kitten. He loves being stroked and enjoys people’s company, and, like any good little kitten, he is playful, curious and eager to discover everything around him. He is also very sociable with other cats. He has grown up alongside his siblings Thor, Duque, Teo and Kira, sharing games, races and naps, and really enjoys the company of other cats. Nico is at a wonderful stage in his life and needs to find a family where he can continue to grow up happily, surrounded by love and security. If he could share his new home with another kitten, that would be brilliant for him, especially with one of his siblings he’s grown up with. 💛 Nico is ready to start his new life. Would you like to be part of it? 🏡 To ensure his safety, it is essential that windows and balconies are fitted with appropriate safety measures before adoption. 📩 📸

About Nico

What life with Nico looks like

Nico is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nico, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nico?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nico on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nico if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nico already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nico isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nico and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
