A litter of kittens, along with their siblings, lived in a shed in a private house in the Jūrmala area. Their mother, a stray cat, had given birth to the kittens and raised them until they became independent, and she has not been seen for several months. A couple of pensioners had taken care of the large cat family, but feeding the group of cats every day became difficult with their small pension. So the kittens ended up in the shelter. They are not available for adoption yet! (We do not reserve cats!)

Runčuks kopā ar brāļiem un māsām mitinājās kādas privātmājas šķūnītī Jūrmalas pusē. Viņu māmiņa - bezsaimnieku kaķenīte - kaķēnus bija laidusi pasaulē, izbarojusi, līdz tie kļuva patstāvīgi un pati nu jau vairākus mēnešus nav manīta. Rūpi par brango kaķu saimi bija uzņēmušies kāds pensionāru pāris, bet pabarot kaķu bariņu katru dienu ar nelielo pensiju kļuva apgrūtinoši. Tā kaķēni nonāca patversmē. Pagaidām adopcijai nav pieejami!( kaķus nerezervējam!
