His story: The four-year-old tiger cat Nimbus is currently waiting in one of our foster homes for a new home. With her long, soft fur and gentle nature, she is a special sight. Although she can be a bit reserved at first, she is open to people and will let herself be stroked once she has built trust. In her foster home, Nimbus has shown that she is a very social cat who values the company of her fellow animals. These social contacts are so important for her well-being that we can only place her in a home where at least one other cat already lives or where she can move in with another cat. Single-cat households are not an option for this sociable female cat. Since Nimbus has not lived with dogs before, we cannot yet assess her compatibility with others. As a pure indoor cat, she has already settled in well and should therefore also be kept without a leash in the future.

Mit ihrem langen, weichen Fell und ihrem sanften Wesen ist sie eine besondere Erscheinung. Obwohl sie anfangs etwas zurückhaltend sein kann, zeigt sie sich Menschen gegenüber aufgeschlossen und lässt sich streicheln, sobald sie Vertrauen gefasst hat. In ihrer Pflegestelle hat Nimbus gezeigt, dass sie eine sehr soziale Katze ist, die die Gesellschaft ihrer Artgenossen sehr schätzt. Diese sozialen Kontakte sind für ihr Wohlbefinden so wichtig, dass wir sie nur in ein Zuhause vermitteln, wo bereits mindestens eine weitere Katze lebt oder mit ihr zusammen einzieht. Eine Einzelhaltung kommt für diese gesellige Katzendame nicht in Frage. Da Nimbus bisher nicht mit Hunden zusammengelebt hat, können wir ihre Verträglichkeit mit ihnen noch nicht einschätzen.
