Adopt Nino C. (vermittelt)

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy

Name Nino Born around July 2025 Gender male dog Breed mixed breed Size will be around medium foster home Nino has ruckizucki found a "Forever Home" :). We are very happy for the young pup and wish him and his new family many beautiful adventures together. The ages mentioned here are often estimated values, as we do not always know the exact age. Other information like size is subjective. The young pup arrived at his foster home on January 10, 2026, and has quickly integrated into the existing pack of dogs and cats. He is very people-oriented, shows puppy-like playful behavior, and loves to be cuddled. More about Nino will come soon 🙂 I was given to the animal shelter together with my brothers Mici and Carlo by some young men. As for my backstory, I unfortunately know nothing else. But what I do know is that I playfully love to play with my brothers, am curious, and would love a home with stroking hands, because I don’t shy away from that! It’s now quite cold in the shelter and I long for a warm place. Although I don’t know yet how to behave in the house and what to expect there, I will surely take everything in with great enthusiasm and get to know it. Will you be my security and my home, with stroking hands? What should my new home be like? Dog experience is desirable but not necessary. We are looking for people who are willing to take on the adventure of an international dog and give him a second chance at a responsible home. The animal shelter in Campulung is also supported by a charity. If you do not live in our catchment area, it is possible to adopt a Fellnase through Soul Dogs. If you are interested in this great dog, please fill out the Referral Form or call us at the phone number provided. Here are a few pictures. For enlargement, please click on an image. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

About Nino C. (vermittelt)

What life with Nino C. (vermittelt) looks like

Nino C. (vermittelt) is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Second Chance Dogs e.V. in Zornheim.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nino C. (vermittelt), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nino C. (vermittelt)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Second Chance Dogs e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nino C. (vermittelt) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nino C. (vermittelt) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Second Chance Dogs e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nino C. (vermittelt) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nino C. (vermittelt) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Second Chance Dogs e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nino C. (vermittelt) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
