Ihre Geschichte: Tag für Tag sitzt die liebevolle Niya am Gitter und schaut mit ihren freundlichen, bernsteinfarbenen Augen hinaus – voller Hoffnung auf ein bisschen Zuwendung. Das Shelter ist einfach kein Ort für so eine zarte Hündin. Niya ahnt vielleicht schon, dass es da draußen mehr gibt, als Gitterstäbe und kalten Beton. Vielleicht wartet irgendwo ein Mensch auf sie, den sie lieben darf. Niya ist nämlich ein absoluter Schatz. Sobald ein Mensch ihren Zwinger betritt, wird sie zur kleinen Kuschelmaus. Unendlich liebevoll schmiegt sie sich an und würde am liebsten in einen hineinkriechen, so sehr genießt sie die menschliche Nähe. Als „Sahnehäubchen“ kommt natürlich ihre außergewöhnliche Optik hinzu: Niyas weiß – goldgestromtes Fell mit den schwarz umrahmten Augen macht sie ganz einzigartig, fast wie ein Kunstwerk. Niya ist etwa 3,5 Jahre alt und ungefähr 50 cm groß. Das Leben in einem Haushalt muss sie erst noch kennenlernen. Stubenreinheit, Leine laufen – all das ist für sie neu. Doch sie bringt alles mit, was es braucht, um das alles zu meistern: Freundlichkeit, Vertrauen und ganz viel Wunsch zu gefallen. Mit geduldigen, liebevollen Menschen wird Niya sicher ganz schnell zu einer wundervollen Begleiterin, gerne auch mit Unterstützung durch eine mit positiver Verstärkung arbeitende Hundeschule. Mit anderen Hunden zeigt sie sich verträglich. Katzen konnten noch nicht getestet werden. Wir wünschen uns für Niya ein Zuhause, in dem sie all das bekommt, wonach sie sich so sehnt: Nähe, Geborgenheit und jemanden, der ihr zeigt, dass sie endlich angekommen ist. Auch eine Pflegestelle würde ihr sehr helfen. Niya reist kastriert, geimpft, gechipt, entfloht und entwurmt.
