NOISETTE

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Hello friends, I'm Noisette! I came here because I was diagnosed with a disease that is not compatible with life with non-carrier cats: FIV. My cat friend could catch it, so unfortunately my mom couldn't keep me. Today, I am therefore looking for a home where I will be the only cat in the house, or with a companion also carrying the same disease as me. I am a very affectionate and human-oriented cat. I only ask for one thing: attention and love! The problem is that my disease sometimes scares people. Yet, in reality, I am a cat like any other. I just have a more fragile immune system when the disease occurs. But I can also live many years without encountering any particular problem and fully enjoy my life. So, if you are looking for an affectionate companion who still has a lot of love to give, don't hesitate to come meet me.

Hello les amis, moi c'est Noisette ! Je suis arrivé ici car on m'a diagnostiqué une maladie qui n'est pas compatible avec la vie avec des chats non porteurs : le FIV. Mon copain chat pouvait l'attraper, alors ma maman n'a malheureusement pas pu me garder.

About NOISETTE

What life with NOISETTE looks like

NOISETTE is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Coeur de Flandres) in Hazebrouck.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

Frequently asked

Adopting NOISETTE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about NOISETTE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Coeur de Flandres) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw NOISETTE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt NOISETTE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Coeur de Flandres) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is NOISETTE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if NOISETTE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Coeur de Flandres) early rather than rehoming privately; they know NOISETTE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
