Noki (Toa Nui) (m)

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 9 years

<3 at a foster home in 14513 Teltow <3 I am a last chance, I honestly don't know why. Okay, yes. I lost my leg and now I only have three legs, but that doesn't bother me at all. I live at my foster home with dogs and cats and get along well with all of them. But it's too loud and too busy here for me, and I'm honestly sometimes a bit hysterical, so the animal welfare organization wants to help me find a quieter home. I love people, I'm always happy to be around, and I know how to behave well. I'm also a dream passenger in the car and just happy to be with you. I can be on my own too, but first I get a little heartache and have to sing a little to calm down, then I lie down and wait patiently until you come back. I love going for walks, but long tours are not for me, so I would be great with seniors who take short walks with me and then cuddle with me on the couch. Dog contact would be great because I also love to play and sometimes I just need to let off some energy. A garden to sniff and sunbathe would be my dream. Despite my disability, I'm a happy, playful dog who will also make you laugh every day. I currently live in 14513 Teltow, and it would be great if we could meet a few times before I move in with you. Ready for a date? I'm looking forward to you, Noki Noki, born on 01.12.21, about 35 cm and weighing around 8 kg, is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and neutered, and currently does not need any medication. One must be aware, however, that a three-legged dog may occasionally need physiotherapy or pain medication due to wear and tear later on. This care must also be financially possible. Who will give this sweet guy his heart and a wonderful life? Contact:

Kontakt:

About Noki (Toa Nui) (m)

What life with Noki (Toa Nui) (m) looks like

Noki (Toa Nui) (m) is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. in Nürnberg.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Noki (Toa Nui) (m), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Noki (Toa Nui) (m)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Noki (Toa Nui) (m) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Noki (Toa Nui) (m) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Noki (Toa Nui) (m) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Noki (Toa Nui) (m) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Noki (Toa Nui) (m) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
