Nori

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Nori was found together with her sisters Phoebe and Meja on a parking lot. Homeless and without their mother. While help came too late for Phoebe and she did not make it, we hope even more that Nori, representing her sister, will become part of a family and be allowed to lead a happy dog life. Nori has coped well with the difficult start and managed to keep her cheerful and friendly character. She is sweet and playful. When she looks at you with her dark button eyes and tilts her head inquisitively, your heart melts. Like every puppy, Nori still has much to learn, and we wish for the pretty mouse a family that will accompany her through the exciting time of growing up and ensure she does not have to grow up in the shelter. A family that will show her how beautiful life can be and will teach her with patience and loving consistency everything she needs for a worry-free, peaceful coexistence. A visit to a positively working dog training class would be a great support to further strengthen the bond between dog and human. For Nori has the best prerequisites to grow into a wonderful companion. Currently, the female dog is approximately 2.5 months old and is expected to reach a medium size when fully grown. Can Nori already frisk joyfully through your home? Then contact us. And if you have the time and space to offer a foster place, we would also be very grateful. Nori travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas and has a valid EU pet passport. Thank you, Tanja! Thanks to you, Nori not only has a sweet name but also a real chance. As of: 22.05.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Nori

What life with Nori looks like

Nori is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nori, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nori?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nori on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nori if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nori already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nori isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nori and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
