Nori

Female · Young · 2 years

Norusia, Norcia - a dog that we want to present to you, there's no other way to say it. We are convinced that Norcia fits the image of the ideal dog for many people. It's not so much about appearance (look at this wise little snout), but above all about the character Nori. Because Norcia is fantastic! Very social and friendly, both with people - big and small - and with other dogs. She beautifully establishes relationships with them, with a lot of trust and gentleness. On walks, she goes at her caregiver's pace and takes care of dog-related matters, while not forgetting to maintain contact with her caregiver. A walk with her is pleasant also because Norusia is friendly towards other dogs. She gladly makes new friends and doesn't get into arguments. Therefore, she could successfully join a resident dog. Norcia is also brave and curious about her surroundings, so she can find her way in many daily situations. She is calm and has a lot of life in her. Everything can be done with Norcia, as the female dog is undergoing dermatological treatment, which should be continued after adoption. Thanks to this, her fur is slowly growing back, which she lost for various reasons. Medical recommendations are not complicated, they just require regularity. We highly encourage you to meet this dog pearl with a wonderful character. If you feel that Nori fits your world, give us a call! We will go for a walk and tell you everything.

Mogłaby zatem z powodzeniem dołączyć do psa rezydenta.

About Nori

What life with Nori looks like

Nori is a medium-sized young adult dog waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Undergoing dermatological treatment for hair loss - requires continued medication after adoption

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nori, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nori?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nori on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nori if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nori already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nori isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nori and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
