Norman is 14mths old and is a beautiful black semi coated boy whose currently not neutered He was bought from a breeder by his elderly owners who clearly haven’t the ability to care and train him and cannot now cope with a large breed who requires all the essentials this breed needs to be happy and healthy Norman is either on a lead or locked in a crate as he is far too high energy you’d expect from a dog his age, the owner struggles to walk him as he’s too big and strong and so Norman is just a frustrated puppy who just wants to do things and play Norman has an allergy to chicken and beef and has been on a lamb and rice mix kibble but we think he would be best on a grain free diet Norman is fully vaccinated Norman is fully house trained but has chewed through being bored and not having enough interaction as he is a very intelligent boy whose currently does need mental stimulation When our volunteer took Norman out for a walk he was good on the lead and easily distracted when he saw another dog, with consistency and in a home with knowledge of the breed Norman could be social with other dogs, at the moment he’s not being allowed to interact and is very frustrated Norman knows his basic commands and could be an excellent companion with an adopter with previous experience Norman has no experience with children so we would say he would be best in an adult only home or a home with teens He’s not ever met a cat so we feel small furries would be a no to protect him Norman requires a home where he’s an only dog and the new adopter or foster concentrates on showing him all the things he’s mixed out on in his short life Please please help us save Norman, he really does not deserve to be put to sleep at 14mths old when none of the issues are his fault More information Gender: Male Age: 14 mths Color: Black Coat: Semi Neutered: No Good with other dogs: Dont Know Good with cats: No Good with children: Older children only
