Sommige honden voelen zich het prettigst wanneer er ruimte is om gewoon te mogen zijn. Nox is daar een mooi voorbeeld van. Ondanks de enorme inzet van zijn adoptanten, zijn stiefzusje én Nox zelf, bleek de gezinssituatie uiteindelijk toch niet de juiste match voor hem. Het is een moeilijke en emotionele beslissing geweest om Nox opnieuw af te staan, maar uiteindelijk wel één die in zijn belang is genomen. Sinds zijn terugkomst zien we dat Nox zich hier beter kan ontspannen. De bewegingsvrijheid van zijn binnen- en buitenverblijf doet hem zichtbaar goed en geeft hem minder een beklemmend gevoel. Hoewel hij graag meegaat tijdens de groepswandelingen en daarbij keurig aan de lijn loopt, merk je ook dat hij het prettig vindt om aardig wat tijd voor zichzelf te hebben. Die balans tussen samen dingen ondernemen en voldoende eigen ruimte is voor Nox erg belangrijk. Momenteel werken we met hem aan het rustig aan- en aflijnen en begeleiden we hem in zijn reactiviteit op niezen. Dat blijft voor Nox een lastig punt, maar we zien hierin al mooie vooruitgang. Daarnaast krijgt hij regelmatig fysiotherapie om zijn achterpootjes beter te ondersteunen tijdens langere wandelingen. Dit ondergaat hij overigens ontzettend goed! Voor Nox zoeken we mensen die stevig in hun schoenen staan en hem op een rustige en duidelijke manier blijven begeleiden. Mensen die begrijpen dat hij tijd voor zichzelf nodig heeft, hem die ruimte ook kunnen geven en hem een omgeving bieden waarin hij meer van het buitenleven kan genieten.
