Nubia is a beautiful, sweet, and cheerful dog. But she hasn't had much happiness in her life so far. She lived on an abandoned lot with other dogs, had puppies. Now this phase of homelessness has ended—but a new, shelter life has begun. Fortunately, Nubia is a female contact dog and she loves people very much! On the second day of knowing us, she would climb onto our laps. Nubia loves walks, during which she bravely explores the terrain. She has learned to walk nicely on a leash (though she does sometimes pull in moments of emotion). This isn't the only progress she's made in the last few months! It turned out that she is very talented in the direction of nose-work activities! Recently, she also participated in her first Adopt a Warsaw Dog action and was a real medal-winning dog. She had no problem jumping into the car, and during the ride, she was well-behaved, looking out the window with interest. At the drop-off location, she greeted people, even strangers, and eagerly explored the new territory. Nubia isn't a fan of other dogs, but on walks, she can ignore them if she has wise human support. We would rather see her as a singleton in a home. Nubia is looking for a caregiver who isn't her first dog in life. She learns quickly and willingly, but her new person must have some knowledge about dogs (including bully breeds), their behaviors, and needs. Nubia will not find a home with children. Nubia jest śliczna, miła i wesoła. Ale szczęścia w życiu dotąd nie miała z pewnością. Mieszkała z innymi psami na opuszczonym placu, rodziła dzieci. Teraz ten etap bezdomności skończył się - ale zaczął kolejny, inny, schroniskowy. Na szczęście Nubia jest suczką kontaktową i bardzo lubi człowieka! Już drugiego dnia znajomości wdrapywała się nam na kolana. Nubia uwielbia spacery, podczas których dzielnie eksploruje teren. Nauczyła się ładnie chodzić na smyczy (choć zdarza jej się czasem pociągnąć w emocjach). To nie jedyne postępy, jakie poczyniła w ostatnich miesiącach! Okazało się, że jest bardzo uzdolniona w kierunku zajęć typu nose-work! Niedawno brała też udział w swojej pierwszej akcji Adoptuj Warszawiaka i była naprawdę psem na medal. Bez problemu wskoczyła do samochodu, a podczas jazdy była grzeczna, z zaciekawieniem wyglądając przez okno. Na miejscu witała się z ludźmi, nawet obcymi i z chęcią zwiedzała nowe terytorium. Nubia za innymi psami raczej nie przepada, ale na spacerze potrafi je ignorować, jeśli tylko ma mądre wsparcie od człowieka. Docelowo raczej widzimy ją jako zwierzęcą jedynaczkę w domu. Nubia szuka opiekuna, dla którego nie będzie pierwszym w życiu psem. Szybko i chętnie się uczy, ale jej nowy człowiek musi jednak mieć już pewną wiedzę o psach (w tym w typie bulla), ich zachowaniach i potrzebach. Nubia nie odnajdzie się w domu z dziećmi.
