Nugget

French Bulldog Β· Female Β· Young Β· 2 years

Nugget is a handsome French Bulldog puppy who sadly came into our care after being abandoned. He is currently enjoying life in his foster home in Stevenage, where he is showing everyone what a sweet, playful little boy he is! Nugget loves playing with his toys and is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow in confidence and learn all about the world around him. As he is still a puppy, he will need a patient and understanding family who can continue working on his toilet training, which his foster family have already been helping him with. Nugget will also need a family committed to continuing his training and socialisation. A home with direct access to a garden is essential, giving him a safe space to play and continue practising his toilet training. In return, this lovely boy has so much love and fun to bring to his new family If you would like to adopt Nugget, please fill out a rehoming questionnaire and a member of the team will get in contact within 48 hours. About Nugget

What life with Nugget looks like

Nugget is a young adult french bulldog dog waiting at All Dogs Matter in London.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nugget, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nugget?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. All Dogs Matter handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nugget on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nugget if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” All Dogs Matter will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Nugget already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nugget isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with All Dogs Matter early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nugget and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
