Nuka et Djolly

European Shorthair · Unknown

Nuka & Djolly are looking for their new home 🏡 This lovely duo arrived at our shelter due to their owner's health issues and are now looking for a new family who can provide them with stability, affection, and security. ❤️ 🖤 Nuka, a handsome 7-year-old black and white male, is shy when he doesn't know people yet. Once he gains their trust, he will be affectionate and enjoy close moments, while still keeping his independent side. 🤍 Djolly, a pretty 5-year-old tricolor female, is more timid and reserved. With time, patience, and a reassuring environment, she will also reveal her affectionate side. 🥰 🏥 Health: Nuka has suffered from kidney stones in the past and must continue to receive veterinary urinary food. Djolly can eat the same food, even though she currently has no urinary problems. 👧 Children: no 🐱 Cats: OK 🐶 Dogs: to be evaluated Nuka and Djolly have always lived in an apartment and this lifestyle suits them perfectly. Ideally, they should continue their journey together to preserve their references and their bond. 🐾❤️ 📞 For any additional information or if you would like to offer them a second chance, please contact us by phone at 02.

About Nuka et Djolly

What life with Nuka et Djolly looks like

Nuka et Djolly is a adult european shorthair cat waiting at SPA Valais in Uvrier.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nuka et Djolly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nuka et Djolly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SPA Valais handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nuka et Djolly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nuka et Djolly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SPA Valais will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nuka et Djolly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nuka et Djolly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SPA Valais early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nuka et Djolly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
