Nurmi ist vermittelt

Unknown · Senior · 12 years

Nurmi is a white-black Dalmatian, born on 22.08.2014, neutered. Update 17.01.2026: No heart murmur has been reconfirmed in Nurmi, and he is well managed on medication. You wouldn’t notice anything amiss with him, and he is everywhere. So, we hope that he can still accompany his family for a long time. Update 25.07.2024: Nurmi was on vacation and experienced many new things. His owners report: On vacation, he feels very good. Nurmi had never seen the sea or sand, nor had he ever ridden in an elevator. But on the first night by the sea, he did not want to go home. Update 05.05.2024: Nurmi is a very young-looking almost ten-year-old male dog who has settled in easily. He had already been on a dog vacation, which was booked. Of course, he is not perfect; that would be boring. Dog interactions still need to be practiced. He lives with the family of Sam, who passed away recently. 03.04.2024: Nurmi’s breeder had contacted us and asked if we could help. Nurmi’s owner is seriously ill and could not stay in the family because his brother lives there, with whom he does not get along at all. Short-term, it worked to separate them, but not long-term. Nurmi has found a foster home with an option for adoption.

About Nurmi ist vermittelt

What life with Nurmi ist vermittelt looks like

Nurmi ist vermittelt is a senior dog waiting at SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. in Neustad.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nurmi ist vermittelt, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nurmi ist vermittelt?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nurmi ist vermittelt on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nurmi ist vermittelt if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nurmi ist vermittelt already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nurmi ist vermittelt isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nurmi ist vermittelt and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
