Her story: The fate of Salomé and her 3 puppies Sulwe, Nuru, and Jua sounds like it came from a bad movie, but unfortunately, it's a sad reality. A woman brought her young female dog, just over 1.5 years old, and her 3 puppies to Roxana's practice. She explained that the female dog wasn't feeling well. Roxana examined her and found that she was suffering from Parvo, a often deadly virus. At the time, her puppies, who were only about 2.5 weeks old, had to be immediately separated from her, and the young mother had to be medically treated. Initially, the owner wanted to treat the female dog as well, but suddenly she changed her mind and wanted to take all the dogs back home. Her irrational reasoning: she would try to burn the female dog's nose, as this might heal her, and otherwise, she could die peacefully at home. In many Romanian villages, it is still a common method to burn the noses of dogs infected with Parvo with a hot metal piece. People hope that this will kill the viruses. This story is a stark example of the mistreatment and suffering that many animals still endure in Romania. Roxana was on the verge of calling the police in desperation and anger to protect the dogs. But in the end, the woman gave in and left the practice without her dogs. Since then, Roxana and her team have lovingly cared for the little family, and all four are on the road to recovery and are now ready to find their Forever Family. Nuru means "light" and the name fits perfectly. Nuru is a true sunbeam and brightens every room with her open nature. You can recognize her by her completely beige fur. She is loving, open, playful, and people-oriented. She enjoys the attention of the helpers and is always happy to be petted. Of course, she also says "yes" to some action and likes to play around with her siblings. Her new family will surely appreciate Nuru's company and realize what a wonderful addition Nuru is to any family. She is currently about 8 weeks old and will grow to be small to medium-sized. Her new family should also be aware that Nuru has not yet experienced life in a loving family. She still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and puberty is still ahead of her. She needs people who can approach her with love and patience, and maybe even attend some positive dog training classes with her and forgive her one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being alone are still foreign words to her. During puberty, she will certainly test boundaries and perhaps forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Nuru will definitely be a great lifelong partner. Nuru is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Ihre Geschichte: Das Schicksal von Salomé und ihren 3 Welpen Sulwe, Nuru und Jua klingt wie aus einem schlechten Film, doch leider ist es traurige Realität. Eine Frau kam mit ihrer jungen Hündin, gerade einmal 1,5 Jahre alt und deren 3 Welpen in die Praxis von Roxana. Sie erklärte ihr, dass die Hündin sich nicht gut fühlt. Roxana untersuchte sie und stellte fest, dass sie am oft tödlich verlaufenden Parvo-Virus erkrankt ist. Ihre Welpen, zu dem Zeitpunkt gerade mal 2,5 Wochen alt, mussten sofort von ihr getrennt und die junge Mutter medizinisch behandelt werden. Zunächst wollte die Besitzerin ihre Hündin auch behandeln lassen aber plötzlich entschied sie sich um und wollte wieder alle Hunde mit nach Hause nehmen. Ihre irre Begründung: Sie würde versuchen, der Hündin die Nase zu verbrennen, da dies sie vielleicht heilen würde und ansonsten könnte sie friedlich Zuhause sterben. In vielen rumänischen Dörfern ist es leider immer noch eine gängige Methode, dass Hunden, die mit dem Parvo-Virus infiziert sind, die Nase mit einem heißem Metallstück verbrannt wird. Die Menschen haben die Hoffnung, dass dadurch die Viren abgetötet werden. Diese Geschichte ist ein drastisches Beispiel für die Misshandlung und das Leiden, dem viele Tiere in Rumänien immer noch ausgesetzt sind. Roxana war vor Verzweiflung und Wut kurz davor, die Polizei zu rufen, um die Hunde zu schützen. Doch letztendlich gab die Frau nach und verließ die Praxis ohne ihre Hunde. Seitdem kümmern sich Roxana und ihr Team liebevoll um die kleine Familie und alle 4 sind auf dem besten Weg wieder gesund zu werden und sind nun bereit, ihre Für-Immer-Familie zu finden. Nuru bedeutet so viel wie „Licht“ und der Name passt super. Nuru ist ein wahrer Sonnenschein und erhellt jeden Raum mit ihrer offenen Art. Man erkennt sie an ihrem komplett beigen Fell. Sie ist lieb, aufgeschlossen, verspielt und menschenbezogen. Sie genießt die Aufmerksamkeit der Helfer und wird gerne gekrault. Natürlich sagt sie auch zu etwas Action nicht „nein“ und tobt gerne mit ihren Geschwistern umher. Ihre neue Familie wird Nurus Gesellschaft sicher schnell zu schätzen wissen und merken, was für eine Bereicherung Nuru für jede Familie ist. Sie ist aktuell ca. 8 Wochen alt und wird ausgewachsen klein bis maximal mittelgroß werden. Ihrer neuen Familie sollte auch bewusst sein, dass Nuru das Leben in einer liebevollen Familie noch nicht kennt. Sie muss noch das ganze Welpen ABC lernen und auch die Pubertät steht ihr noch bevor. Hier braucht sie Menschen, die mit viel Liebe und Geduld vorgehen, ggf. auch eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule mit ihr besuchen und ihr das ein oder andere Missgeschick verzeihen. Leinenführung, Stubenreinheit und Alleinbleiben sind für sie noch Fremdwörter. Während der Pubertät wird sie sicherlich Grenzen testen und vielleicht schon gelernte Dinge wieder „vergessen“. Aber wenn man diese Phase erstmal gemeistert hat, wird Nuru ganz bestimmt eine tolle Partnerin fürs Leben werden. Nuru gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
