Ocean und Skipper

Mixed Breed · Male

Description: Skipper Ocean ☀️ Our Summer Boys: Ocean & Skipper ☀️ May I introduce you to two little rays of sunshine? Ocean and Skipper, two young male kittens born right in the middle of summer—and they’ve absolutely earned their sunny names! Their mom, Sunny, and sister, Summer, have already found wonderful homes. Now, these two whirlwinds are also longing for their very own forever home. 💛 Ocean carries his name for a reason: he’s lively, energetic, and sometimes as zesty as a fresh sea breeze. He loves to romp, run around, and chase every toy that moves—or even just pretends to move. His world is full of adventure, and he can’t wait to explore each and every one of them. 🌊 Skipper is every bit as spirited as his brother. A little captain bursting with energy, courage, and joy for life! He sails happily through the room, climbs, jumps, plays—and always gives it his all with heart and soul. With his curious gaze and joyful nature, he brings a touch of summer back into even the grayest of days. ⛵ Together, they’re an unbeatable duo: playful, full of energy, and brimming with youthful zest for life. They wrestle together, chase each other side by side, and at the end of the day, they love nothing more than cuddling close together. We’re looking for people who enjoy movement, play, and the chaos of kittenhood—and who are ready to give these two little summer boys a home where they can grow, learn, and be happy. 🌞💛 Whoever adopts Ocean and Skipper will welcome two pieces of summer into their hearts—vibrant, radiant, and full of warmth. Please feel free to schedule an appointment and meet these two treasures. To do so, first complete the self-assessment form under the “Adoption” tab. Contact: or

What life with Ocean und Skipper looks like

Ocean und Skipper is a small adult mixed breed animal waiting at Tierschutzverein Buxtehude in Buxtehude.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Ocean und Skipper far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

Adopting Ocean und Skipper, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ocean und Skipper?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Buxtehude handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ocean und Skipper on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Ocean und Skipper if I live in another country?

Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierschutzverein Buxtehude what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.

Is Ocean und Skipper already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierschutzverein Buxtehude directly what is included and what Ocean und Skipper still needs.

What happens if Ocean und Skipper isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Buxtehude early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ocean und Skipper and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
