Adopt Ola

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 7 months

About 6 months old (born around November 2025) about 42 cm (growing; becoming medium to large) female, not neutered STILL IN POLAND, Boguszyce Ola – Love on Four Paws 💛 Ola loves people more than anything. Frivolously she runs up to someone, climbs right onto their lap, and enjoys every stroke to the fullest. She is a sweet, affectionate girl with a big heart – and an even bigger wish for her own home. Ola came to the animal shelter with her four siblings. The little puppies wandered around near a barn, and luckily the farmer called for help and supported the animal shelter team in safely capturing all five. We assume that the puppies will grow to be medium to large (their parents could not be found). From the start, they have fit wonderfully into pack life. They get along well with other dogs, invite them to play frantically, and explore their surroundings curiously and confidently. After the adjustment phase, Ola is brave and gladly goes everywhere. She wishes for an active family that takes her on great walks, shares adventures with her, and gives her love – which she will return a thousand times over 🐾💕. If you are looking for a lively, affectionate companion who grows by your side and enriches your life, then Ola could be exactly right for you. Puppies: A castration obligation must be signed for puppies.

About Ola

What life with Ola looks like

Ola is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at home4dogs in Home4dogs.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ola, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ola?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. home4dogs handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ola on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ola if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — home4dogs will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ola already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ola isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with home4dogs early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ola and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
