Adopt Oli

Mixed Breed · Male

Oli is a 1.5-year-old kitten who is full of energy and charm. Brave, curious about the world, follows a person step by step, from room to room. Loves to lie around with his caregiver. Oli is a master at winning hearts! Every day reminds you of himself, offering himself for petting, rolling onto his back and quietly meowing and purring. As a young cat should, he loves play! Chasing a ball, hunting with a fishing rod or fighting with a fish - there's nothing better for Oliego. And if a toy with a feather is involved, then it's already true heaven! Despite difficult times Oli has not lost his joy of life. Some time ago he was hit by a car, but thanks to specialized veterinary care he returned to full health. Today he is like new, with no trace of the accident. FIV/FeLV tests are negative, he is vaccinated, microchipped, has current blood tests, ultrasound, is not yet neutered. Currently Oli is in a foster home with other cats. He is well-behaved, does not destroy things and does not cause problems. He is ready to be loved and is looking for his permanent home.

About Oli

What life with Oli looks like

Oli is a adult mixed breed animal waiting at Fundacja EkoStraż in Wrocław.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Oli far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Oli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Oli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja EkoStraż handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Oli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Oli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja EkoStraż will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Oli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Oli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja EkoStraż early rather than rehoming privately; they know Oli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
