Omega to młodziutka koteczka, która do Schroniska trafiła razem ze swoim bratem Patkiem (699/26). Była bardzo drobna i osłabiona, dlatego początkowo wymagała dodatkowego dokarmiania. Przeszła leczenie infekcji górnych dróg oddechowych, której towarzyszyły katar, kichanie i zapalenie spojówek. Dzięki opiece weterynaryjnej jej stan znacznie się poprawił. Odzyskała energię, ma dobry apetyt i chętnie bawi się z rodzeństwem. Omega była również leczona z powodu świerzbu usznego. Nadal wymaga opieki okulistycznej, ponieważ zmiany w prawym oku goją się wolniej niż w lewym. Kotka została zaczipowana, odpchlona, odrobaczona i zaszczepiona przeciwko chorobom zakaźnym.
