Wie lange er zuvor auf sich gestellt war, weiß niemand. Doch trotz allem hat John sich seine freundliche und liebevolle Art bewahrt. Optisch ist John ein echter Charakterkopf. Sein schwarzes Fell wird von einer wunderschön ergrauten Schnauze und hellen Abzeichen im Gesicht geziert, die ihm einen ganz besonderen Charme verleihen. Sein sanfter Blick erzählt von einem Hund, der schon einiges erlebt hat und trotzdem voller Vertrauen auf die Menschen zugeht. Er gehört nicht zu den Hunden, die mit spektakulären Farben oder außergewöhnlichen Mustern auffallen – John überzeugt mit Ausstrahlung, Würde und einer ganz besonderen Ruhe. Im Tierheim zeigt er sich als ausgesprochen entspannter und ausgeglichener Begleiter. Er liebt Menschen über alles und sucht ihre Nähe, wann immer sich die Gelegenheit bietet. Kuscheln, dabei sein und einfach gemeinsam Zeit verbringen – mehr braucht John oft gar nicht, um glücklich zu sein. Auch mit anderen Hunden kommt er wunderbar zurecht. Aktuell teilt er sich seinen Zwinger sogar mit mehreren Kangals und begegnet ihnen mit bemerkenswerter Geduld und Gelassenheit. Streit oder Hektik sind so gar nicht seine Welt. Für John wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause, in dem er endlich ankommen darf.
