I am Oreo! I was found and am now in the animal shelter looking for a loving home where I can enjoy my twilight years. At twelve years old, I've long left the wild years behind and look forward to people who want to give me many beautiful cuddle hours. I am an exceptionally friendly, relaxed and cuddly cat. I am very open to people and enjoy petting in full measure. I prefer to take it easy and enjoy it when someone takes time for me. I get along well with other cats, but I could just as easily be happy as a single cat.Aging unfortunately hasn't passed me by completely. My musculoskeletal system is already causing me pain due to old age. Currently I am receiving dietary supplements, but in the long term I will probably need additional pain medication on a permanent basis. That's why I wish for people who also keep my health needs in mind and support me lovingly.For my new home, I wish for a quiet environment and people who like it just as cozy as I do. A relaxed, older cat may already be waiting for me. Hallo, ich bin Oreo!Ich wurde gefunden und bin nun im Tierheim auf der Suche nach einem liebevollen Zuhause, in dem ich meinen Lebensabend genießen darf. Mit meinen zwölf Jahren habe ich die wilden Jahre längst hinter mir und freue mich auf Menschen, die mir noch viele schöne Kuschelstunden schenken möchten.Ich bin ein ausgesprochen freundlicher, entspannter und verschmuster Kater. Menschen gegenüber bin ich sehr offen und genieße Streicheleinheiten in vollen Zügen. Am liebsten lasse ich es gemütlich angehen und freue mich, wenn sich jemand Zeit für mich nimmt. Mit anderen Katzen verstehe ich mich gut, ich könnte aber genauso gut als Einzelkater glücklich werden.Ganz spurlos ist das Älterwerden leider auch an mir nicht vorübergegangen. Mein Bewegungsapparat bereitet mir altersbedingt bereits Schmerzen. Momentan bekomme ich Futterzusätze, langfristig werde ich aber vermutlich zusätzlich dauerhaft Schmerzmedikamente benötigen. Deshalb wünsche ich mir Menschen, die auch meine gesundheitlichen Bedürfnisse im Blick behalten und mich liebevoll unterstützen.Für mein neues Zuhause wünsche ich mir eine ruhige Umgebung und Menschen, die es genauso gemütlich mögen wie ich. Eine entspannte, ältere Katze darf gerne schon auf mich warten.
