Other friendly: No. Personality: Oréo is a very friendly border collie; he lacks socialization; his owners separated and could not keep him. Oréo lived with a quite calm Australian shepherd and it was going well; he only knows walks on a leash and needs to meet other animals of the same species to socialize. We will avoid cats as he tends to chase them. He loves children and just wants to play. He remains alone without destroying (he cries a little). He is currently living with his owner's mother, in a house with a garden, but this cannot last much longer. He is not allowed inside the house and must stay in the garage with his bed and dishes, and access to the garden. He digs when he is bored. He is a friendly and affectionate dog; he welcomed our volunteer enthusiastically, seeking cuddles. He shows his enthusiasm and desire to play. Otherwise, outside he ignores people. He clearly lacks activities and interactions. Story: Oréo was adopted as a puppy by a family that unfortunately separated and could not keep him; currently he is staying with the parents as a temporary solution, but this is not a solution for him or them. Ideal home: It would be good for Oréo to have an active family ready to invest in his education and socialization; he has good foundations and is not a difficult dog. Oréo vivait avec un berger australien assez placide et cela se passait bien ; il ne connaît que les balades en longe et a besoin de rencontrer d autres congénères pour se sociabiliser. On évitera les chats qu il a tendance à poursuivre. Il adore les enfants et ne demande qu à jouer. Il reste seul sans détruire (pleure un peu) Il vit actuellement chez la mère de son propriétaire, dans une maison avec jardin, mais cela ne pourra pas durer très longtemps. Il n a pas le droit de rentrer dans la maison et doit rester au garage avec son panier et ses gamelles, et accès au jardin. Il fait des trous quand il s ennuie. C est un chien avenant et affectueux, il a accueilli notre bénévole avec enthousiasme, recherchant des câlins. Il montre son enthousiasme et son envie de jouer. Sinon à l extérieur il ignore les gens. Il est clairement en manque d activités et d interactions. HistoireOréo a été adopté bébé par une famille qui malheureusement se sépare et ne peut pas le garder ; actuellement il est chez les parents pour dépanner mais ce n est une solution ni pour lui ni pour eux. Foyer recherchéIl faudrait pour Oréo une famille active prête à s investir dans son éducation et sa sociabilisation ; il a de bonnes bases et n est pas un chien compliqué. Comme tout border collie il est en grande demande d activités mentales et physiques, et d interactions. C est un chien très câlin et affectueux.
