Despite her history, she continues to trust and strongly seeks contact. She loves cuddles, presence and moments of sharing. With children, she is gentle, calm and caring. What makes Orka unique Orka has experienced a double abandonment, an ordeal few dogs should have to go through. And yet, she has not lost any of her ability to love. She remains a lovable, energetic and pleasant dog in daily life. She knows the basics of training and is comfortable with handling and care. She is also being treated for epilepsy, with a lifelong treatment, and no seizures have been observed at the shelter. Needs and preferences Orka gets along well with other dogs, with simple management needed at mealtime. She is not compatible with cats and chickens will need to be secured. She may tend to run away or dig, but this is mainly due to a lack of stimulation. Orka will need a rich environment, human presence, activities and physical and mental exercise to thrive.

Avec les enfants, elle se montre douce, posée et bienveillante. Ce qui rend Orka unique Orka a connu un double abandon, une épreuve que peu de chiens méritent de vivre. Et pourtant, elle n’a rien perdu de sa capacité à aimer. Elle reste une chienne attachante, volontaire et agréable au quotidien.
