While he can be excitable and is still learning impulse control, Oscar is responding well to training and loves spending time with his handlers. With patience, consistency and ongoing guidance, he has all the makings of a fun, loyal and rewarding companion for the right home. Oscar is searching for an adult-only household or one with secondary school aged or above. He must be the only pet in the home, although he can enjoy walking alongside suitable dog friends out and about. Oscar would thrive with owners who are committed to continuing his training, particularly around impulse control, lead manners, and his tendency to grab and chew leads and harnesses when excited. He has no known history of being left alone, so any time spent by himself will need to be introduced gradually. A secure private garden is essential, with high fencing recommended as Oscar is athletic and capable of jumping surprisingly high!
