Oslo

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 2 months

Oslo is a lovely gray kitten. Oslo is an adorable little gray male kitten, 2.5 months old. Raised with his mom and siblings, Oslo has grown up in a reassuring environment and surrounded by others. He gets along very well with other cats. Oslo is a calm, gentle, and rather reserved kitten when he doesn't know people yet. He needs some time to gain confidence and feel comfortable. He is also a little loner who often plays alone, at his own pace. Oslo is visible with his littermates in Paris 18th under the association Adopte Un Matou. The association is looking for adopters who will take him either with one of his brothers or in a household already having a cat. He is offered: identified (microchip), first vaccinated (typhus/coryza) and dewormed (worms/fleas). Sterilization mandatory from 6 months (non-negotiable clause of the contract). Placement followed. Adoption fee: €180. The exteriors (windows, balconies...) of his future home must be secured: preventing a kitten/cat from escaping or falling (we eliminate all requests that do not meet this condition).

About Oslo

What life with Oslo looks like

Oslo is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Adopte Un Matou in Maurecourt.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Oslo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Oslo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Adopte Un Matou handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Oslo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Oslo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Adopte Un Matou will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Oslo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Oslo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Adopte Un Matou early rather than rehoming privately; they know Oslo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
