Ottilia

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 10 months

Ottilia is a mixed-breed female puppy born in October 2025, who was found with her siblings Odette, Olivera, Obelix, Oda, Ollie, and Oliver and brought to the Serbian animal shelter Svilos. She was raised lovingly with her siblings. Ottilia is an exceptionally active and energetic dog, full of energy. Running and jumping are her absolute favorite activities, and she enjoys moving around and being active. Ottilia is very affectionate and trusting towards people. She enjoys the company of her caregivers and loves petting and spending time together. Ottilia is selective about her dog friends. She prefers to choose her own friends. Her behavior towards cats and other animals is unknown to us. We are looking for active and athletic people for Ottilia who enjoy physically and mentally challenging her and providing her with a varied dog life. If you are looking for an energetic, people-oriented female dog and enjoy doing a lot with your four-legged friend, Ottilia could be the ideal companion for you. The dog's shoulder height is 49 cm and she weighs approximately 15 kg.

About Ottilia

What life with Ottilia looks like

Ottilia is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Care Hungary.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ottilia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ottilia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Care Hungary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ottilia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ottilia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Care Hungary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ottilia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ottilia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Care Hungary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ottilia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
