Our paths crossed when, as a young mother, she was trying to feed her first-ever puppies hidden in an abandoned ruin on Rynek Street in Głowaczów, dodging officials, teachers, priests, and residents. She took time to recover, learned to live with humans, and trust them again. Today, she knows that life with people doesn't mean pain or fear. At 2.5 years old, she discovered that controlled walks on a leash in the company of people are more enjoyable than wandering around looking for food, that caresses bring pleasure, and human closeness is natural and not as scary as she thought. Owsianka, also known as Betty, is fully ready for adoption from both veterinary and behavioral perspectives. She handles a leash well, maintains cleanliness, gets along great with other dogs, and is already eagerly looking around for her own Home and a loving, caring Family. Best with another dog.
