Pablo

Mixed Breed · Male

URGENT ADOPTION Needed urgently, as the current owner can no longer take care of him and we want to avoid him having to go through the animal rescue association. Pablo is a nearly 3-year-old dog who is very affectionate, noble, and gets along wonderfully with children. He loves being accompanied and receiving hugs. At home, he behaves wonderfully, being a calm dog despite needing daily activity as a good Belgian Malinois. Pablo has leishmaniasis and hip dysplasia, but this doesn’t prevent him from enjoying life or being a wonderful companion. He just needs a committed family that will give him the love and care he needs. As for other dogs, he gets along well with females and small dogs. With some large males, he may show insecurity and bristle, as he suffered from being bullied when he was a puppy. Nonetheless, he is not a conflictive dog; he simply needs proper introductions and understanding of his history. He is a very easy-going dog that needs love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and grateful companion, Pau is waiting for you. Do you want to give him the new home he so deserves? Fill out the form below or send us an email to: From ADANA, we only manage adoptions for residents in the province of Barcelona and do not send animals outside the province. If you are interested in meeting him, please request an appointment by writing an email to . And very important: let our caregivers advise you and you will find your four-legged orange half. Thanks for understanding! As with all dogs from the animal rescue association, whether purebred or not, they will be adopted after being spayed, neutered, or with the commitment to neuter them as soon as possible in the case of males, and their suitability for the adopting family will be evaluated. You are encouraged to give them a chance! Do you want to know more or become the new family for Pablo? Pau is waiting for you at ADANA! Contact us through our website, Facebook, or email, or at . Why choose a dog from the animal rescue association? You save two lives: the one of the animal you adopt, and the one of the one that will take its place in the animal rescue association or shelter. Helping others live gives them a second chance, a home, and not to die on the street. If there’s no demand, there’s no deal: puppy mills are places where dogs survive in cramped cages, and the only thing they do is breed and raise. If we all adopted, these puppy mills would close, and we would reduce the animal overpopulation on the street. You won’t change the world, but you will change his and yours: by letting him have the life he deserves. Sleeping in a warm and comfortable bed, walking with a family that adores him, playing and having fun with her and/or with other dogs. In short, being happy, giving you unconditional love, and thanking you all your life. If you decide to adopt, do it with heart! Adopt! If you are interested in adopting Pablo or any other animal from ADANA, you meet the necessary requirements for adoption, and you are willing to meet his needs and maintain him according to the applicable regulations, Collaborate! We need your help to ensure Pablo has a good future. By sharing this post, you will help us find a family that will love him more and better, now, forever! Many thanks! We make it easy for you! Li encanta estar acompanyat i rebre manyagues. T’està esperant a ADANA! About Pablo

What life with Pablo looks like

Pablo is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at ADANA Alella (Protectora Animals) in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pablo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pablo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ADANA Alella (Protectora Animals) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pablo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pablo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ADANA Alella (Protectora Animals) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pablo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pablo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ADANA Alella (Protectora Animals) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pablo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
