Arrived on June 8, 2026. You probably remember Pablo... Two months ago, his owner was looking to have him euthanized because she couldn't—or didn't want to—cover the veterinary costs associated with his eye problems. Since the veterinarian wasn't comfortable euthanizing a kind, healthy, and well-conditioned dog, he reached out to us, and the owner agreed to give him to us. Since then, Pablo's eyes have been saved, and surgery has been avoided thanks to the seriousness, rigor, and full adherence to the care protocol shown by his foster family—so a big THANK YOU to them! Now it’s time for him to find a permanent family—a family to start the rest of his life with. Here’s a brief description of his personality, specially written by his foster family: “Pablo is a good dog—very affectionate, cuddly, and obedient. Pablo loves being outdoors. On walks, you can let him off-leash using the following recall commands: ‘Wait’ or ‘Stop’ before crossing the street, and ‘Sit—don’t move.’ He’ll wait for the command ‘Come’ or ‘Let’s go’ before crossing. The word ‘STOP’ calms him down, and the word ‘Here’ helps him come back to you. Pablo loves running around and rolling in the grass. If you take him for a walk where there are people everywhere, he’ll want to say hello to everyone. When Pablo loves you, he never lets you out of his sight—he’ll look for you if you leave the same room as him or if he loses sight of you. Give him a chance, and Pablo will repay you a hundredfold.” Pablo is sociable and gets along well with other dogs. If he’s going to share his daily life with other dogs, a preliminary meet-and-greet will still be necessary. He also accepts the presence of our feline friends and children, since he’s lived with them until now. As you’ve probably gathered, Pablo isn’t currently at the shelter. His foster family REALLY wants to spare him from ever ending up in the shelter. So don’t hesitate to contact us so we can arrange a meet-and-greet!!

Arrivé le 8 Juin 2026 Vous vous souvenez sans doute de Pablo..Il y a 2 mois sa propriétaire cherchait à le faire euthanasier car elle ne pouvait/voulait pas assumer les frais vétérinaires liés à ses soucis aux yeux.. Le vétérinaire n’étant pas OK pour euthanasier un gentil chien, sain et en forme, il nous a contacté et la propriétaire a accepté de nous le céder. Depuis, ses yeux ont pu être sauvés et l’opération a pu être évitée grâce au sérieux, à la rigueur et au respect complet du protocole de soins de la part de sa famille d’accueil alors un grand MERCI à elle. À présent, il est temps pour lui de trouver une famille définitive, une famille pour le début du reste de sa vie. Voici un petit descriptif de sa personnalité spécialement rédigé par sa famille d’accueil : » Pablo est un bon chien, très affectueux , câlin et obéissant. Pablo aime être dehors. Lors des balades en extérieur, vous pouvez le promener sans laisse avec les mots de rappel suivants : « tu attends » ou « stop » avant de traverser et « assis pas bouger ». Il attendra l’ordre » viens » ou « allez » pour traverser. Le mot « STOP » le calme et le mot ici permet de le faire revenir près de vous. Pablo aime courir et se jeter dans l’herbe pour faire des roulades. Si vous le promenez où il y a des gens un peu partout, il voudra aller dire bonjour à tout le monde. Pablo quand il vous aime il ne vous lâche plus, il vous cherchera si vous quittez la même pièce que lui ou s’il vous perd de vue. Offrez lui une chance, Pablo vous le rendra au centuple. « Pablo est sociable et s’endend avec ses congénères. S’il doit partager son quotidien avec d’autres chiens, une rencontre au préalable sera tout de même nécessaire. Il accepte également la présence de nos amis félins et de celle des enfants puisqu’il a vécu avec jusque-là. Vous l’aurez compris, Pablo n’est pas visible au refuge. Sa famille d’accueil voudrait VRAIMENT lui éviter la case refuge.. N’hésitez donc pas à nous contacter afin qu’une rencontre puisse être organisée !!
