Maak kennis met de mooie Paola! Paola werd van de straat gered, ze was een klein poesje met oogproblemen. Ze probeerde te overleven in een gevaarlijke buurt. De vrijwilligsters konden haar daar niet achterlaten, omdat haar leven in gevaar was, om die reden hebben ze haar meegenomen. Ze zijn met Paola naar de dierenarts gegaan en die heeft antibiotica voorgeschreven en drie verschillende soorten oogdruppels om te proberen zoveel mogelijk van haar gezichtsvermogen te redden. Nu gaat het goed met Paola! Haar ogen zijn in een betere conditie, omdat de ontsteking weg is en het stabiel is. Haar zicht is wat beperkt. Paola is het liefste, meest actieve, grappige en speelse poesje ooit! Ze is erg aanhankelijk. Paola kan eten als de beste en wordt iedere dag zwaarder. Naar mensen en andere dieren is ze heel vriendelijk en sociaal. Voor Paola zoeken wij een huisje met een veilig afgesloten tuin/balkon want door haar beperkte zicht mag ze niet op straat. Update 2 april 2022: Paola moet even wennen aan vreemden mensen. Als er visite is, komt ze ook niet tevoorschijn maar zodra ze een paar daagjes aan je heeft kunnen wennen is het echt een mensen katje. Kroelen kan ze als de beste en dat zoekt ze ook zelf op, in het gastgezin met 10 katten zorgt ze er altijd voor dat ze toch lekker op schoot ligt en trekt ze zich niets aan van de andere die daar ook willen liggen, ze gaat er gewoon lekker tussen liggen. Ze heeft dus ook geen problemen met andere katten en daarom zoeken wij iemand die een lief kameraadje voor haar heeft. De keuken is ook haar domein, alles wat met eten heeft te maken trekt haar aan, maar ze zal nooit lelijk doen tegen het maatje als het over eten gaat, ze zal wel proberen stiekem te pikken van de lekkere maaltijd, maar doet dit nooit gemeen. Paolo heeft last van verminderd zicht, ze is niet compleet blind maar ziet alleen schaduwen. Daarom zoeken we voor haar een huisje waar ze beschermd naar buiten mag, ze heeft ook geen probleem met een afgeschermd balkon. Ze heeft daar zelf weinig last van, het is een katje wat gewoon van het leven geniet en als ze haar kroeltjes en lekker eten krijgt is ze al tevreden.
