Paride

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy

Male Paride – open-minded, loving male dog seeks his family Paride was born in January 2026 and currently lives with his siblings at the LIDA rescue center in Sardinia. The friendly puppy has light brown, slightly longer and very soft fur. With his slender, high-legged build, he somewhat resembles a Setter. Paride is about 55 cm tall and weighs around 20 kg. He is very open, friendly and affectionate towards people. The young dog is extremely affectionate and enjoys being engaged with. At the same time, he is playful, curious and full of energy. Paride is a runner and would appreciate people who enjoy going on adventures with him and providing him with sufficient exercise and varied activities. He wants to learn a lot and grow into a secure and balanced dog with his future family. With his open and loving nature, Paride will certainly bring a lot of joy to his new home. We hope that Paride will soon be able to travel to a foster home in the Rhine-Main area in Germany. He is now missing only one family that will give him a start in a new life with patience, love and empathy. If you can imagine giving Paride a loving home, please fill out our adoption form. If you live in the Rhine-Main area, you can also take Paride in as a foster dog first. More dogs are looking for a home... Oscar is friendly and open-minded not only to people but also to other dogs. Maya wants her own home at last. Milly has been waiting for her people for so long. Mia San wants a quiet bed for herself at last.

About Paride

What life with Paride looks like

Paride is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. in Bad Vilbel.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Paride, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Paride?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Paride on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Paride if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Paride already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Paride isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Paride and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
