Paul is one of five dogs from the notorious killing in Constanța who were subsequently abandoned in one of the worst private shelters in the Bucharest area. His path was marked by fear, confinement, and complete disorientation - but now a new chapter begins for him. Paul was born in June 2022, is about 49 cm tall, and is friendly in his interactions. He now lives in one of our AlmoNature kennels in Izvoru and is slowly beginning to relax. He observes a lot, makes contact cautiously, and shows a fine, sensitive nature that immediately touches. With patience, calmness, and clear structure, he will continue to open up and learn that closeness can be beautiful. The young male must first learn to live without fear, trust people, and understand that no one will hurt him anymore. In Izvoru, he is now allowed to settle in, arrive, and understand that his life has changed. As soon as Paul has settled in, we will report on him in more detail and also show you beautiful photos of this beautiful dog. Update visit August 2026: The handsome little Paul had a visit from Germany in August - and what a great little dog he is. Paul was thrilled: wagging his tail, curious, and full of charm, he greeted his visitor. Of course, the treats were also a highlight for him. For Paul, this moment was a wonderful change in the shelter life, and he showed how friendly and approachable he is. What a handsome fellow - and what a dog with potential. Paul should really leave soon so that he can preserve his friendly, cheerful nature and finally get the chance to blossom in a home. Paul is one of those dogs whose story you don't forget - and whose future you really want to change. Paul is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and will be placed with a protection contract after a positive preliminary check. General note on our protégés: Our dogs in Romania are regularly visited so that we can reassess their behavior and development again and again. These personal impressions help us very much to convey a possible good picture of each individual dog. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that a dog in a new environment - with new people, new routines, and new impressions - can also show itself differently. This is quite normal and is part of every change process. Many dogs open up faster in a home and show sides that were not visible in the shelter at all. Our assessments are therefore based on current observations, but are not a guarantee for every behavior in the new environment. They are intended to provide orientation and show how the dog presents himself in the shelter - and what potential he has. We are convinced: with patience, understanding, and a loving environment, every dog can find his way and develop positively.

Paul gehört zu den fünf Hunden, die aus der berüchtigten Tötung in Constanța stammen und anschließend in einem der schlimmsten Privatshelter im Raum Bukarest zurückgelassen wurden. Auch sein Weg war geprägt von Angst, Enge und völliger Orientierungslosigkeit – doch nun beginnt für ihn ein neues Kapitel.Paul wurde im Juni 2022 geboren, ist etwa 49 cm groß und zeigt sich im Umgang freundlich. In Izvoru lebt Paul nun in einem unserer AlmoNature‑Zwinger und beginnt langsam, sich zu entspannen. Er beobachtet viel, nimmt Kontakt vorsichtig auf und zeigt eine feine, sensible Art, die sofort berührt. Mit Geduld, Ruhe und klarer Struktur wird er sich weiter öffnen und lernen, dass Nähe schön sein kann.Der junge Rüde muss erst wieder lernen, ohne Angst zu leben, Menschen zu vertrauen und zu verstehen, dass ihm niemand mehr etwas antut. In Izvoru darf er nun zur Ruhe kommen, ankommen und begreifen, dass sein Leben sich verändert hat.Sobald Paul sich eingelebt hat, werden wir genauer über ihn berichten und euch auch schöne Fotos dieses wunderschönen Hundemanns zeigen.Update Besuch August 2026: Der hübsche kleine Paul hatte im August Besuch aus Deutschland – und was für ein toller kleiner Hundemann er ist. Paul hat sich riesig gefreut: schwanzwedelnd, neugierig und voller Charme hat er seinen Besuch begrüßt. Natürlich waren auch die Leckereien ein Highlight für ihn. Für Paul war dieser Moment eine wunderbare Abwechslung im Shelteralltag, und er hat gezeigt, wie freundlich und zugewandt er ist. Was für ein hübscher Kerl – und was für ein Hund mit Potenzial. Paul sollte wirklich bald ausreisen, damit er sich seine freundliche, fröhliche Art bewahrt und endlich die Chance bekommt, in einem Zuhause weiter aufzublühen.Paul ist einer dieser Hunde, deren Geschichte man nicht vergisst – und deren Zukunft man unbedingt verändern möchte.Paul ist kastriert, geimpft, gechippt und wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle mit einem Schutzvertrag vermittelt.Allgemeiner Hinweis zu unseren Schützlingen: Unsere Hunde in Rumänien werden regelmäßig besucht, damit wir ihr Verhalten und ihre Entwicklung immer wieder neu einschätzen können. Diese persönlichen Eindrücke helfen uns sehr, ein möglichst gutes Bild von jedem einzelnen Hund zu vermitteln. Dennoch möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass sich ein Hund in einer neuen Umgebung – mit neuen Menschen, neuen Abläufen und neuen Eindrücken – auch anders zeigen kann. Das ist ganz normal und gehört zu jedem Veränderungsprozess dazu. Viele Hunde öffnen sich im Zuhause sogar schneller und zeigen Seiten, die im Shelter gar nicht sichtbar waren. Unsere Einschätzungen basieren daher auf aktuellen Beobachtungen, sind aber keine Garantie für jedes Verhalten im neuen Umfeld. Sie sollen eine Orientierung geben und zeigen, wie der Hund sich im Shelter präsentiert – und welches Potenzial in ihm steckt.Wir sind überzeugt: Mit Geduld, Verständnis und einem liebevollen Umfeld kann jeder Hund seinen Weg finden und sich positiv weiterentwickeln.
