Pauli (formerly Spyke) is looking for his forever home ❤️ Pauli, born in 2023, has been living on a foster placement for some time now and is ready to move into his own home. The handsome male had no easy start in life. As a former chained dog, he still brings some issues from his past with him. That's why we are looking for experienced dog owners who can give him the patience, consistency and understanding he needs. His issues include resource guarding, for example when it comes to food or toys. However, this is manageable with proper training. Pauli is an exceptionally clever dog, learns quickly and enjoys working with his humans. He gets on well with other dogs. He also knows how to ride the bus and train, loves treats and knows the dog crate. It's particularly sad that he was probably eared and tailed in a very unsuitable way at a young age. Despite this terrible experience, Pauli has retained his joie de vivre. With a shoulder height of about 45 cm and a weight of 22 kg, he is an agreeable size. Now all he needs is the most important thing: people who can finally show him how wonderful a sheltered dog life can be. We very much hope that Pauli will find his forever home soon. 🟢Interested? Pauli (ehemals Spyke) sucht sein Für-immer-Zuhause ❤️ Pauli, geboren 2023, lebt nun schon seit einiger Zeit auf einer Pflegestelle und ist bereit, in sein eigenes Zuhause umzuziehen. Der hübsche Rüde hatte keinen leichten Start ins Leben. Als ehemaliger Kettenhund bringt er noch einige Baustellen aus seiner Vergangenheit mit. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für ihn hundeerfahrene Menschen, die ihm mit Geduld, Konsequenz und Verständnis die Sicherheit geben, die er braucht. Zu seinen Themen gehört unter anderem Ressourcenverteidigung, beispielsweise bei Futter oder Spielzeug. Mit entsprechendem Training ist das jedoch gut in den Griff zu bekommen. Pauli ist ein ausgesprochen kluger Hund, lernt schnell und arbeitet gerne mit seinen Menschen zusammen. Mit anderen Hunden versteht er sich gut. Außerdem kennt er das Fahren mit Bus und Bahn, ist verspielt, liebt Leckerchen und kennt die Hundebox. Besonders traurig ist, dass ihm vermutlich bereits im Welpenalter Ohren und Rute auf äußerst unsachgemäße Weise kupiert wurden. Trotz dieser schlimmen Erfahrung hat Pauli sich seine Lebensfreude bewahrt. Mit einer Schulterhöhe von etwa 45 cm und einem Gewicht von 22 kg hat er eine angenehme Größe.
