Tomcat Pauli is a found cat, estimated to be just under 1.5 years old. He roamed for a long time around a residential area. Unfortunately, he was not treated very kindly there. What exactly happened to him and who tormented him, we don't know. His body, especially his head and ears, is covered in scratches and minor wounds. He was fed but found no permanent home, although he often asked to be let in. A kind animal lover took him in and asked us for help. That is how Pauli came to the veterinarian and, after treatment and neutering, to one of our foster placements. It is very remarkable how affectionate a stray can be. He practically begs for hands to stroke him. He feels very comfortable in the warmth with his food bowl always full. He tries to make friendly contact with the cats in his foster home. At least, that is how we interpret his behavior. He initially reacts calmly to hissing and growling. Only when someone gets too close does he hiss back and defend himself. He is very easily startled. Pauli is a really sweet, very talkative cat. At first we thought he needed a loving, quiet home without children, ideally with 1-2 nice, well-balanced cats. However, he has since shown us that he is quite interested in several people as well. The main thing is that he gets cuddles. A secured balcony would be nice, although so far, in his foster home, he avoids the balcony and open (secured) windows. Pauli is neutered, microchipped, and registered. He has been treated for fleas and worms and has received 1 vaccination so far.

Kater Pauli ist ein Fundkater, geschätzt knapp 1,5 Jahre alt. Er streunerte lange in einem Wohngebiet herum.Leider behandelte man ihn dort nicht sehr nett. Was ihm genau passiert ist, wer ihn gepeinigt hat, wissen wir nicht. Sein Körper, vor allem Kopf und Ohren, ist mit Kratzern und kleineren Wunden übersäht. Er wurde gefüttert, fand aber keine dauerhafte Bleibe, obwohl er oft um Einlass bat. Eine liebe Tierfreundin nahm sich seiner an und bat uns um Hilfe. So kam Pauli zum Tierarzt und nach Behandlung und Kastration in eine unserer Pflegestellen. Es ist sehr erstaunlich, wie verschmust ein Streuner sein kann. Er bettelt regelrecht um Hände, die ihn streicheln. Er fühlt sich im Warmen mit stets gefülltem Futternapf sehr wohl. Mit den Katzen der Pflegestelle versucht er freundschaftlichen Kontakt aufzunehmen. Zumindest deuten wir sein Verhalten so. Auf Fauchen und Knurren reagiert er erstmal gelassen. Nur wenn einer ihm zu nahe kommt, faucht er auch mal zurück und wehrt sich. Er ist sehr schreckhaft.Pauli ist ein ganz lieber, sehr gesprächiger Kater. Anfangs dachten wir, er braucht ein liebevolles ruhiges Zuhause ohne Kinder, gern mit 1-2 netten, ausgeglichenen Katzen. Allerdings hat er uns inzwischen gezeigt, das er durchaus auch an mehreren Leuten interessiert ist. Hauptsache, er bekommt Streicheleinheiten. Schön wäre ein gesicherter Balkon, obwohl er in seiner Pflegestelle bisher den Balkon und offene (gesicherte) Fenster meidet.Pauli ist kastriert, gechippt und registriert. Er wurde gegen Flöhe und Würmer behandelt und bisher 1 x geimpft
