Peanut- 2 Year Old Female

Mixed Breed Cat · Female

Hello everyone! My name is Peanut and I am so excited to find my new loving family. I am a sweet girl who is independent but also loves a fuss, I am your typical tortie you see I may tell you when I have had enough love. I am looking for a nice calm home, where my new family can spend time getting to know me and helping me settle into my new life. I may like a cat friend, I do show some interest in the other cats here in the cattery but as always I will need a slow introduction. I am not sure if I would like a dog friend, I can be a little wary you see so it might be too much for me. If I have to share my home with children, that is fine I may just need some alone time when I have had enough. Once I have settled in I’d love the chance to be able to potter around in the garden, I love looking out the window here in the cattery. My adoption fee is £135

About Peanut- 2 Year Old Female

What life with Peanut- 2 Year Old Female looks like

Peanut- 2 Year Old Female is a adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Peanut- 2 Year Old Female, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Peanut- 2 Year Old Female?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Peanut- 2 Year Old Female on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Peanut- 2 Year Old Female if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Peanut- 2 Year Old Female already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Peanut- 2 Year Old Female isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Peanut- 2 Year Old Female and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
