Peanut is a sweet and gentle female dog who has been living in foster care since she first appeared at the gate of her foster home. She was panicked, avoided everyone, and didn't even trust help. Her foster mom Alexandra never gave up on her. Every day, she was there without pressure or expectations, just with patience. It took a long time for Peanut to find the courage to enter the property. Even longer to let someone touch her for the first time. Each step was hard-earned and every small progress was a reason to celebrate. Today, Peanut is a completely different dog. She still approaches strangers cautiously, but once she has gained trust, she shows her incredibly loving side. Then she enjoys every caress, seeks the closeness of her humans, and wants to be with them. It's as if she finally understood that affection is nothing to fear. Peanut gets along well with other dogs and cats are no problem for her either. A confident first dog could give her additional security in her new home and make it easier for her to start. Since Peanut has spent most of her life alone, we assume she doesn't know much about life. Life in a house, everyday noises, traffic, visitors or relaxed walks on the leash will probably be completely new experiences for her. That's why we are looking for people who give her time to arrive at her own pace and show her the world step by step. We want a quiet, rural home with a garden for Peanut, far from hustle and bustle, heavy traffic, and constantly changing stimuli. A busy lifestyle or living in the middle of the city would probably overwhelm her. She needs an environment where she can relax, build trust, and feel safe. A positive dog school can help her gain confidence and grow into a well-coordinated team with her humans. Peanut is chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed. She travels with an EU pet passport and will be placed after a positive pre-check, contract, and deposit. She would also be very happy about a suitable foster home. Als Peanut zum ersten Mal am Tor ihrer Pflegestelle auftauchte, war sie panisch. Sie ließ niemanden an sich heran, wich jeder Bewegung aus und traute sich nicht einmal, Hilfe anzunehmen. Alexandra, ihre Pflegemama, gab sie trotzdem nicht auf. Tag für Tag war sie einfach da, ohne Druck, ohne Erwartungen, nur mit Geduld. Es dauerte lange, bis Peanut den Mut fand, das Grundstück zu betreten. Noch länger dauerte es, bis sie sich zum ersten Mal anfassen ließ. Jeder einzelne Schritt war hart erarbeitet und jeder kleine Fortschritt ein Grund zur Freude. Heute ist Peanut eine völlig andere Hündin. Fremden begegnet sie zwar noch immer vorsichtig, doch sobald sie Vertrauen gefasst hat, zeigt sie ihre unglaublich liebevolle Seite. Dann genießt sie jede Streicheleinheit, sucht die Nähe ihrer Menschen und möchte einfach bei ihnen sein. Es ist, als hätte sie endlich verstanden, dass Zuneigung nichts ist, wovor man Angst haben muss. Mit anderen Hunden lebt Peanut völlig unkompliziert zusammen und auch Katzen sind für sie kein Problem. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte ihr in ihrem neuen Zuhause zusätzliche Sicherheit geben und ihr den Start erleichtern. Da Peanut einen Großteil ihres bisherigen Lebens auf sich allein gestellt war, gehen wir davon aus, dass sie vieles noch nicht kennt. Das Leben im Haus, Alltagsgeräusche, Straßenverkehr, Besucher oder entspannte Spaziergänge an der Leine werden für sie wahrscheinlich ganz neue Erfahrungen sein. Deshalb wünschen wir uns Menschen, die ihr Zeit geben, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen und ihr die Welt Schritt für Schritt zeigen. Für Peanut suchen wir ein ruhiges, eher ländliches Zuhause mit Garten, fernab von Hektik, dichtem Straßenverkehr und ständig wechselnden Reizen. Ein trubeliger Alltag oder das Leben mitten in der Stadt würden sie vermutlich überfordern. Sie braucht ein Umfeld, in dem sie zur Ruhe kommen, Vertrauen aufbauen und sich sicher fühlen kann. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann sie dabei unterstützen, Selbstvertrauen zu gewinnen und gemeinsam mit ihren Menschen zu einem eingespielten Team zusammenzuwachsen. Peanut ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und kastriert. Sie reist mit EU-Heimtierausweis und wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle, Schutzvertrag und Schutzgebühr vermittelt.
