They had found shelter among piles of rubbish, but it wasn't a place any puppy should have called home. With dog catchers already in the area, their lives were hanging in the balance. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time. Since arriving at the shelter, Peggy has left that frightening chapter behind and is finally experiencing what it feels like to be safe. Surrounded by kindness, good food and people who care for her, she is beginning to enjoy the carefree puppyhood she should have had all along.
