The cat mother Penelope appeared on Kibuna streets last year with three kittens. Kind people offered them food and looked for help to get the cat family warm for winter. Unfortunately, only two of Penelope's kittens reached the shelter, the third disappeared. One of the kittens went to its own home quite soon, the other still waits with its mother for a foster home. Penelope roams around in the cat room and unfortunately has not yet found a common language with people, other cats like her much more than two-legged beings. During cleaning work, you can sometimes accidentally end up too close to Penelope's nest, then the small kitten quickly starts scratching against the blanket. But for street cats who have not had much contact with people, it takes longer for trust to develop. In home conditions, the results come much faster. Kassimamma Penelope ilmus koos kolme pojaga Kibuna tänavatele aasta tagasi. Head inimesed pakkusid neile toitu ning otsisid abi, et kassipere talveks sooja saada. Paraku jõudis turvakoju vaid kaks Penelope pojakest, kolmas jäi kadunuks. Üks poegadest läks üsna varsti oma päriskoju, teine veel ootab koos emaga kodupakkumist. Penelope toimetab ringi kassitoas ja kahjuks ei ole ta inimesega veel ühist keelt leidnud, teised kassid meeldivad talle palju enam kui kahejalgne. Koristustööde ajal võib vahel ennast unustades liiga lähedale Penelope pesale sattuda, siis on väike käpp vastu pealage üsna kiire käima. Aga sellistel tänavakiisudel, kes inimesega palju kokku puutunud pole, võtabki usalduse tekkimine kauem aega. Kodustes tingimustes on tulemused palju kiiremad tulema.
