Pepita

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Pepita, the only survivor. A little fighter who deserves a happy ending. 💗 Pepita’s story began in heartbreaking circumstances. In the middle of August, her mother and her kittens were abandoned inside a cardboard box with holes in it. When they arrived at Triple A, they were all in a critical condition, fighting for their lives. They remained at Triple A with their mother, but after a few weeks, she sadly passed away. The kittens were then left without the motherly care and protection they desperately needed, so they were taken into foster care. Their foster family devoted themselves to looking after them, doing everything possible to help them survive. Sadly, one by one, the kittens passed away. Only Pepita survived. Her foster family has gone above and beyond to care for her, giving her constant attention, dedication and lots of love to help this little fighter pull through. Pepita is an affectionate, very playful kitten who still enjoys her bottle. She is still tiny and needs to continue growing under the care of a family who can give her the time, attention and dedication she needs at this important stage of her life. Pepita has already been through far too much for such a little kitten. Now we want her story to have a happy ending: to grow up feeling safe, never be short of cuddles and discover the love of a family who will care for her forever. 💗 Pepita is the only survivor of her litter. After so much suffering, she deserves the chance to live a happy life. Will you open your heart and home to her? 🏡 To ensure her safety, windows and terraces must have suitable protective measures installed before adoption. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Pepita

What life with Pepita looks like

Pepita is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pepita, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pepita?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pepita on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pepita if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Pepita already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pepita isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pepita and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
