Tico

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

Tico is a beautiful Siamese cat with striking blue eyes who came to Triple A after being rescued by the local animal welfare authorities. He has a calm, gentle nature and is very affectionate with people. He loves being stroked and, when you stop, he reaches for your hand and gently nudges it with his head to ask for more. It is a sweet little gesture that shows just how much he enjoys human company. Despite having only recently arrived in his room, he has settled in very well and gets along happily with the other cats. He is sociable and easy-going, getting on well with both people and his feline companions. We hope Tico will soon find a family who falls in love with his beautiful blue eyes and affectionate personality, and who will give him a home where he can enjoy all the cuddles he loves so much. 🏡 To ensure his safety, windows and terraces must have appropriate protective measures in place before adoption. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Tico

What life with Tico looks like

Tico is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tico, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tico?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tico on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tico if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Tico already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tico isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tico and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
