Peppa

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 10 years

Peppa, a little female cat at least 10 years old. Peppa was taken off the street to spend her remaining life warm and loved. An adorable and very calm little cat. A bit shy but loves being cuddled and scratched. She doesn't have a tail. Just a small curled-up stub (hence her name: Peppa... Peppa pig, a pig. Are you still following? ) She has a lifetime treatment for her heart. Other than that she is in good health. Just tired from her life on the street. So yes, Peppa is old and Peppa is black but all she wants is a home where she can spend her remaining days, where she can spend hours sleeping and being cuddled. Okay with cats and small dogs. OK with children.

FR·Show original

OK enfants. Adoptable contre un don libre

About Peppa

What life with Peppa looks like

Peppa is a small senior mixed breed animal waiting at La Patte Normande in Bolleville.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Peppa far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Peppa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Peppa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. La Patte Normande handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Peppa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Peppa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — La Patte Normande will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Peppa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Peppa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with La Patte Normande early rather than rehoming privately; they know Peppa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
