Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe)

European Shorthair · Male · Young · 2 years

A very unfortunate story. The owner locked his cats out and won't let them back in because he doesn't want to keep them anymore. Neighbors have cats themselves and can't take them in and are trying to help. Unfortunately, we don't know where to put the surrendered and found animals because we are flooded with sick found animals and sick seizures that are time-consuming and require care. I can only help with external placement offers if owners want to give up their animals or need to. That's why, yes, the kitten is sick, probably cat flu, from the way it looks and is wormed. So please don't put it with healthy animals. The animal has not been treated by a veterinarian. But here is the description from the neighbors. We are all at the end of our wits and our strength, we can no longer cope with the flood of cats, CAN'T help anymore, although we want to. Pepsi is a 1-2 year old little cuddly cat who picks up cuddle units wherever he can. The black kitten has a crazy but totally lovable personality and was already rescued once as a small kitten. He is anything but shy and really friendly with children and dogs - he just loves everyone and is happy to be there. He loves to lie on your lap or snuggle up in a soft blanket. He used to live as a free-roaming cat and then didn't have a bed to sleep in for a long time.

DE·Show original

About Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe)

What life with Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) looks like

Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) is a small young adult european shorthair cat waiting at Kolner Tierschutzverein in Köln.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Kolner Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Kolner Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Kolner Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pepsi Pepsi (externe Vermittlungshilfe) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
