Pepsi

Persian · Male · Kitten · 2 months

SPECIAL HOME REQUIRED – PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING Pepsi came in with her siblings and mum at a young age after being taken from their home due to welfare reasons. Since being separated from her mum and siblings, Pepsi has come out of her shell and now screams for our attention! She has become very loving and is a little tiny attention seeker! Unfortunately, during her stay at the cattery, Pepsi caused an injury to one of her back legs which resulted in needing surgery. This surgery has taken place and she is now recovering really well but is looking for a home that she can continue her recovery in. Pepsi is going to need 4 weeks of cage rest to ensure her leg heals up well and will need to come back to our vet to have the two pins in her leg removed. Hopefully once she has fully recovered, Pepsi will have no further problems but may have a weakness in that leg in the future. Pepsi has come from a home where unfortunately one of the cats tested positive for Coronavirus so will need to be the only cat in the home. Is there a kitten sized hole in your life?

About Pepsi

What life with Pepsi looks like

Pepsi is a small kitten persian cat waiting at RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pepsi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pepsi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pepsi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pepsi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Pepsi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pepsi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pepsi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
