Hello, I’m Tigger, and I’m a shy boy looking for a fresh start. I find myself at Raystede as I wasn’t settling into my new home after my owners moved. My personality: I can be shy to begin with and it can take me a little while to feel comfortable with new people. In my previous home, prior to the house move, I was very affectionate and loved to have a cuddle with my owners. Unfortunately, I became very stressed once the house move was done and I struggled to settle into the new environment, constantly going back to the original house. I was very nervous when I first arrived at Raystede, but I was always well behaved. I am getting braver each day and I’m letting the staff fuss me quite a bit now. I’m even beginning to leave my safe space to explore the cattery. I have days where I can be a bit shyer but I’m still getting used to being in the cattery. I’m sure once I’ve fully integrated into a home, I’ll be the affectionate and cuddly boy I used to be. Children: I’m very nervous around young children and have been known to hiss at them in the past. I would be best placed in an adult-only home but could live with much older children/teenagers. Other animals: I need to be the only pet please. I don’t like other cats or dogs and will fight with or hiss at them. Additional needs: I’ve got slightly longer fur which will need regular brushing to keep in good condition and, luckily, I like being groomed and pampered! I’d love for my new home to have a garden as I love going outside. I’ll need a home away from busy area as I’ve been known to cross roads in the past. It’s not known whether I’ll wander far or hunt. With some time and patience, I’ll blossom into a lovely little cat. Could you offer me a forever home? Love, Tigger xxx
