Perla and Aghatta

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

We have a beautiful pair of cats available for adoption 4 year old mum Perla and her daughter Aghata, 3. They are both chipped vaccinated and neutered. They are indoor only cats. They have never been out and would be very scared. (If you have a garden and were able to install a catio of course that would be a safe way for them to enjoy the sun the rain and eat grass etc) It will be a direct rehome. Their owners are based in Enfield area so you will need to be able to travel there to meet them and collect them if the adoption is agreed. If you would like to apply to adopt this pair please download the adoption form or email us.

About Perla and Aghatta

What life with Perla and Aghatta looks like

Perla and Aghatta is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at The Cats Whiskers Rescue (East Herts) in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Perla and Aghatta, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Perla and Aghatta?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Cats Whiskers Rescue (East Herts) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Perla and Aghatta on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Perla and Aghatta if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Cats Whiskers Rescue (East Herts) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Perla and Aghatta already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Perla and Aghatta isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Cats Whiskers Rescue (East Herts) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Perla and Aghatta and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
